Works by Terry O’Neill CBE, Jeremy Houghton and Jan Erika on display.
13–16 October 2026 | Sanlorenzo Yachts UK Showroom, Mayfair, London
Sanlorenzo Yachts UK will transform its Mayfair showroom into a curated contemporary art gallery this October, presenting a unique four-day exhibition celebrating the enduring relationship between art, design and craftsmanship.
Taking place from 13 – 16 October, during Frieze London one of capital’s most important weeks for contemporary art, the pop-up gallery will be open to all throughout the exhibition, offering art collectors, clients and design enthusiasts the opportunity to discover works by three distinguished British artists in the elegant surroundings of the Sanlorenzo Yachts UK Park Lane showroom.
While timed to coincide with Frieze London, the exhibition is an independent Sanlorenzo UK initiative, inspired by the shipyard’s evolving cultural vision and its new global brand positioning, Tomorrow’s Timeless.
Tomorrow’s Timeless represents Sanlorenzo’s philosophy of creating yachts of enduring value – designs that transcend trends, embrace innovation with purpose and enrich the lives of those who experience them.
Just as every Sanlorenzo yacht is conceived as a bespoke expression of its owner’s individuality, the exhibition explores art as a deeply personal experience. Each artist brings a distinctive perspective, yet all share an approach that values authenticity, emotional connection and lasting relevance over fleeting fashion.
Together, the collection reflects the same principles that define a Sanlorenzo yacht: exceptional craftsmanship, originality, timeless elegance and the ability to create meaningful experiences.
Jan Erika – Rhythm in abstract form
British abstract artist and designer Jan Erika explores the relationship between music, movement and the natural world. A classically trained concert cellist, she translates rhythm and emotion into expressive works characterised by bold brushwork, instinctive colour and organic forms.
Her paintings embody a sense of movement and optimism that feels simultaneously contemporary and enduring, echoing Sanlorenzo’s belief that true design should inspire today while remaining relevant for generations to come.
Terry O’Neill CBE – Capturing timeless cultural icons
The exhibition will also feature works by legendary photographer Terry O’Neill CBE, whose images have become part of modern cultural history.
Across a career spanning more than six decades, O’Neill photographed the defining personalities of politics, music, film and fashion, creating iconic portraits of figures including Audrey Hepburn, David Bowie, The Beatles, Nelson Mandela and every era of James Bond.
His photographs transcend celebrity portraiture to become cultural artefacts – images that continue to resonate decades after they were captured. Their timeless quality perfectly reflects Sanlorenzo’s philosophy of creating lasting value through exceptional vision and craftsmanship.
Jeremy Houghton – Painting the unseen
Renowned for gaining extraordinary access to some of the world’s most exclusive institutions – from Windsor Castle and the Vatican to Wimbledon and the Olympic Games – Jeremy Houghton creates works that focus not simply on what is seen, but on what is experienced.
His distinctive practice is built on observation and distillation, stripping away unnecessary detail to reveal atmosphere, movement and presence. Rather than documenting a moment, Houghton invites viewers to feel it.
This experiential approach closely mirrors the Sanlorenzo ethos, where every yacht is designed not simply to be admired, but to be lived, experienced and remembered.
The pop-up exhibition also marks a significant milestone for the Italian shipyard as it celebrates 10 years of Sanlorenzo Arts – a decade of championing artistic expression through collaborations with internationally acclaimed artists, architects, designers and cultural institutions.
This commitment entered an exciting new chapter with the opening of Casa Sanlorenzo in Venice in 2025, a permanent cultural space dedicated to fostering dialogue between art, design, innovation and craftsmanship.
Nick Hatfield, Managing Director at Sanlorenzo Yachts UK, says: “Art has long been central to Sanlorenzo’s identity. Through Sanlorenzo Arts and our Tomorrow’s Timeless philosophy, we celebrate creativity that stands the test of time – work that combines innovation and craftsmanship with authenticity and emotion.
“Bringing together these three remarkable artists in our Mayfair showroom continues the dialogue between fine art and yacht design, demonstrating how both have the power to inspire, enrich experiences and become enduring expressions of individual taste.”
The pop-up gallery is open from Tuesday 13 to Friday 16 October, 10am – 5pm, at the Sanlorenzo Yachts UK showroom at 61 Park Lane, Mayfair, welcoming visitors throughout the exhibition.
