Having grown up in and around the water, Nick spent many years competitively racing an assortment of dinghies and yachts around UK and European waters. Following university Nick joined Ancasta and spent a number of years successfully running the busy Lymington office before taking the reins of the Prestige Motor Yacht brand for Ancasta. During his tenure, the Ancasta / Prestige dealership won a succession of awards for both sales and service whilst successfully growing the brand into one of the top three most popular motorboat brands in the UK. Now heading up Sanlorenzo UK, Nick is excited to be introducing this exclusive brand to the UK audience.

Having been brought up surrounded by the sea on his native Jersey, James was sailing from an early age be it a Laser dingy, the families ketch rigged cruiser or friends motor yachts. Beginning his career in Investment Banking as an Equities trader he took a sabbatical in 2002 which turned into four years of adventure sailing and instructing. When the time came to return to a desk, Yacht Brokerage was the natural progression to remain where his passion lay. This provided opportunities to spend four years working in Hong Kong followed by seven years with Camper and Nicholsons’ in the South of France. During this time James specialised in the sale of yachts in excess of 24m and was responsible for the sale and purchase of many pedigree large yachts representing clients from across the globe. Sales Broker – Southampton
Charles has grown up in the Solent and New Forest area which allowed him to enjoy being on the water from an early age. After finishing his education, he joined Wight Link as a deckhand before deciding to broaden his horizons by moving to Antibes, South of France to work on Superyachts. Working as a deckhand on a 40m sailing yacht, Charles sailed throughout the Mediterranean visiting marinas and anchorages in Corsica, Italy, Antibes, Mallorca and Ibiza. He returned to the UK in 2016 and joined the Ancasta team as a Yacht Broker where he has excelled in both new and brokerage sales. When the opportunity arose to join Sanlorenzo Yachts and further his skillset it was an easy decision for Charles. He is based from the Sanlorenzo & Bluegame office in Swanwick Marina with a focus on Bluegame new boat sales and motor yacht brokerage.
Sales Broker – Southampton
Jasper has grown up with a passion for the sea thanks to his father’s ownership of many different boats. Having been on and off boats from a young age Jasper moved into the Superyacht industry in 2014 working his way up from Junior Deckhand to Bosun through his 9-year tenure. He has worked on many different and impressive motor yachts ranging from 24m up to 115m, cruising the world from Europe to the Caribbean, UAE to the Pacific Island. Jasper is now putting his passion and knowledge of superyachts to great effect working for the Sanlorenzo UK team based in Swanwick.
John has always been close to the water. He began learning to sail at the age of seven, following college he taught others to sail, and then obtained the necessary qualifications to work on yachts. John spent more than ten years as an engineer on superyachts, first in the Bahamas and then in the Caribbean, the Med, Central America, the East Coast of America, the Arabian Peninsula, and Southeast Asia. Moving ashore in 2018 he was employed as a project engineer at the Pendennis Shipyard in Falmouth, before managing the engineering division at the Pendennis Vilanova shipyard. Now he is based from the Sanlorenzo office in Swanwick heading up our aftersales team.
