Revolutionising the concept of an expedition yacht, the 47m 500 EXP model in Sanlorenzo’s Explorer range is an evolution of the shipyard's slightly smaller 460 EXP design, incorporating some additional desirable attributes.

Most significantly the EXP 500 features a longer stern, which creates a more expansive storage area for tenders and toys, and doubles as a helipad – invaluable when accessing remote anchorages.
