Marking another significant milestone in the company’s Road to 2030 sustainability strategy, the collaboration brings together Sanlorenzo’s leadership in sustainable luxury yachting innovation with BYD Energy Storage’s globally recognised expertise in advanced battery systems, energy management technologies, and large-scale electrification solutions.
The partnership establishes a long-term strategic collaboration, including an ongoing research and development programme focused on exploring how advanced energy storage technologies can contribute to a new generation of quieter, lower-impact and more intelligently managed yachts – anticipating the evolving expectations of owners increasingly seeking sustainability, comfort, performance, and extended onboard autonomy without compromise.
The agreement also establishes BYD Energy Storage as Technology Supplier and Official Battery Supplier to Sanlorenzo.
